Īs reported earlier this week Wrexham AFC Womens’ team lifted the league trophy infront of a record breaking crowd at the weekend, however any promotion plans were dependent – in part – on the licence application getting the green light. The license now ensures Wrexham will be eligible to play in the Genero Adran Premier next season, should the team be successful in the play-off match against Briton Ferry Llansawel on Sunday April 16. Wrexham AFC say they are pleased to announce Wrexham AFC Women have been granted a Tier 1 license for the 2023/24 season, following a successful application to the FAW.
